Ingredients

Sardine
20 pieces of filet
Onion
1
Carrot
1/2
Bell pepper
4
Lemon
1
(1)Soy sauce
3 tbsp
(1)Vinegar
9 tbsp
(1)Sugar
6 tbsp
(1)Mirin (Japanese sweet cooking sake)
1 tsp
(1)Chilli pepper
1

Directions

  1. Shred onion, carrot and bell pepper into fine strip.
  2. Put all seasoning ① into pan and bring to boil. Then turn the heat off immediately.
  3. Coat sardines with potato starch. Then deep fry them at 180℃ until cooked.
  4. Drain excess oil from sardines and dip them into heated seasoning A for an instant. Place them in a bowl.
  5. Also dip shredded vegetables into heated seasoning A. Then cover sardiens with vegetables.
  6. Decorate with slices of peeled lemon.
  7. Let it cool and place it in a refrigerator for a day.

Remarks

If ① is not enough amount, add seasonings at following ratio:
Vinegar: 3
Sugar: 2
Soy sauce: 1
